Life jackets are supplied for all passengers and crew on the Sakai.


The Sakai

The Sakai is an 11m sloop, with bilge keels (shallow draft). She is registered in Thailand to operate as a tour vessel and is made of fibreglass and timber. The Sakai has a 40 hp engine for those few occasions when the wind fails us.

The Sakai has two separate cabins for sleeping, a bathroom and a saloon/kitchen, which can also serve as a double cabin.

There is ample room for up to 10 passengers and a crew of 3 for a day trip.

For overnight trips, the Sakai can accommodate up to 6 passengers plus a crew of 2, with tents for sleeping ashore for another 4 passengers.
