Phuket Sail Tours is a family owned and run business that has been operating in Phuket since 2004.
Captain Mark
Captain Mark is an Australian who has been living in Phuket for 6 years. Known for his typically dry Australian sense of humor, he is never seen without his captain's pipe and hat. His collection of pirate sea shanties can be sung on request, but we probably don't recommend it!
Cha Cha
Cha Cha is Mark's long suffering wife. She translates, calms Mark down when he is wrong (all the time) and has given up trying to understand farangs (Westerners). Cha Cha is Thai, and her family belongs to a village near Au Por from where we operate.
Sean
Sean came to Phuket in 2009 after leaving his job as an ecologist in Australia. Originally from the Gold Coast, Queensland, Sean was a scuba diving instructor in Byron Bay and has a marine biology degree from James Cook University. Sean loves taking people to explore the great underwater world around Phi Phi and the Kai Islands. Sean also loves laying back on his sailboat – the Moontide, and pointing out the birds and wildlife on the Phang Nga Bay tours.
Our cook Ya
Ya has been with our company from the very beginning, her food is famous to anyone who comes on our Koh Phanak Sail Cave & Hong tours. Her sister Kiat has also been working with us since the beginning.
Booking Staff, Joky
Joky started in January 2012 and is our first staff we have hired to handle emails and bookings.
Our Thai Captains
Captain Eck is Captain of the Moontide but often joins us our Phi Ph trips to assist with people snorkeling in the water. Eck is a keen family man, with three small boys of his own, he loves letting kids have a turn at "Captaining" the boat.
Captain Imron is Captain of the sailing boat Sakai, but he also comes with us on the Phi Phi trips (to sleep as far as we can tell, and we know he loves Bob Marley!).
Captain Mann is our Captain for the speedboat trip to Phi Phi island. One of the best speedboat captains we have worked with, he has over 20 years experience working on boats in the Phi Phi, Krabi, and Phang Nga areas.
Tour Guide Mai comes along to help us on our tours, taking care of our guests and making sure everyone has a great time!
